Mussorie:

Mussorie, located around 280 kms north of Delhi has been crowned as the Queen of Hills because of its mesmerizing beauty.

Mussorie not only boasts of the picturesque views of the Himalayas and the Doon valley but it also showcases some of the rarest flora and fauna of the country. Standing magnificently among the foot hills of the Himalayas, this hill adorns the edge of the Garhwal Himalayas.

The irregular shapes of the hills clad in a cloak of green flora and white mist take you to a fairyland. The peaks of Chakhamba, Shrikantha, Banderpoonch and the Gangotri look beautiful from here and form some of the major tourist attractions in Mussoorie.

Some of the other tourist sites in Mussoorie include the Camel back road, Gunhill, the town Mall, the Bhadraj Temple, Children’s lodge and the Municipal garden. The place is home to many water falls namely Kempty falls, Bhatta falls, Mossey falls and Jharipani falls.


Nainital:

Nainital is a glittering jewel in the Himalyan necklace, blessed with scenic natural splendour and varied natural resources . Dotted with lakes , Nainital has earned the epithet of 'Lake District' of India . The most prominent of the lakes is Naini lake ringed by hills. Nainital has a varied topography.

The Nainital Lake is shaped like an eye and the town derived its name from the combination of Nain (eye) and Tal (lake). The Naina Devi temple is located at one end of the lake.

The Nainital tourist district is the pride of the Kumaon region in Uttaranchal. Nainital’s unending expense of scenic beauty is nothing short of a romance with awe-inspiring and pristine Mother nature.


Corbett:

The Corbett National park is a primal jungle, despite extensive tourism the park has managed to retain its primeval ambience.

Haridwar:

Kausani:
